Post Jam Update


I've updated the game after the jam and uploaded a new version here whilst keeping the Jam version on this page under the name Jam Build.

This update includes: attempted changes to the slippery movement by allowing the player more control whilst in the air and more braking friction to hopefully allow the player more precise movement and less frustration with slippery movement on platforms. This update also includes a checkpoint system comprised of checkpoints that the player can activate by going close to which will act as save points in the level that the player will return to if they fall into the void or press R. Also if the player now holds R they will reset the level entirely. 

Also in this update is the ability for the player to undo a recently placed block which will destroy it from the world and give it back to the player. There are a few restrictions on this ability: the player only have 10 seconds to undo the block before they cannot anymore, if the player moves too far away from the block they won't be able to undo it and if they pick up another block they cannot undo the placed block.

I have also updated the main menu and paused buttons to hopefully be a little clearer and easier to read against the background.

Additionally there is now a reset counter in the HUD that tracks how many resets the player has done in the level however this is reset to 1 if the player resets the entire level. This counter is not saved in the level and is merely to show the player how many resets they have done whilst doing the level to attempt to encourage the player to try again with fewer resets.

Finally, thank you so much to everyone who played this little game and gave feedback and reviews! This was a really cool experience and I'm glad I participated in this jam!
